旧称杨梅疮”。由梅毒螺旋体引起的慢性传染性性病。主要通过性关系传染。先天性梅毒是孕妇梅毒传给胎儿引起的。一般梅毒螺旋体感染后3-4周，在外生殖器部位发生硬下疳(一期梅毒)；感染2-3个月左右，可出现斑疹、丘疹及腋、颈、腹股沟部表浅淋巴结肿大(二期梅毒)；一、二期梅毒称为早期梅毒，应从速治疗；否则可侵犯心血管等组织脏器，形成晚期梅毒，甚至危及生命。
